early looks and picks week 5

maimi +1 over the giants looks to be a good game but giants seem to give away big leads to hang on to the end. Miami should defend the giants tough and score plenty of points to win.
carolina -7 over the saints. usually i hate giving this much wood to carolina but after the schlacking the colts gave the saints in new orleans the saints have all ready giving up. look for a 2 touch down lead for the panthers...
lions +7 over the 49ers. San fran cannot throw the ball down field and have to rely on short passes and running. Detroit keeps it close and the game is decided by a late field goal.
pitt -6 1/2 over the browns. The browns have regresssed this year and are looking to get spanked by a Pissed off steeler team. take pitt first half and the game.....

Lions might be a money line play. Cleveland beat SF in SF, SF is bitching at one another...and Erickson should have stayed at the college level.

Hey man I was just looking over the board this week and that Miami pick looks like it might be a good one. Funny mathup - both teams have lost to a texas team - yes in very different circumstances, both teams had a week off last week, and both teams have formerly good defenses that have now gone soft.

Lions look good on the surface with the whole Mariucci matchup - but its funny looking at where these teams are at. The niners have lost 3 straight (minny, cleveland, and STL) and only beat chicago. The lions have also lost 3 straight (Denver, Minny, and GB) and only beat Arizona.

I guess someone has to win this one. You'd think that SF would be the better team talent wise and looking at their record you gotta think that maybe its the coaching that is the problem.
I dont care who detroit has for a coach they arent gonna beat minnesota or win this soon at GB and at Denver. But could they win at SF?
